From There the road begins following a narrow ridge along the red canyons of Grand Not too far out there is The expanding retirement city of St. George, certainly worth a trip.

Charles Kuralt called this the most beautiful Street in the USA. U.S. 212 runs from the northern entrance of Yellowstone Close Cooke City to Red Lodge, Mont. throughout the Absaroka-Beartooth National Wilderness. At one point the road is just a couple of feet under 11,000 feet elevation.
